Senior Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager will lead business development and portfolio management for corporate banking clients, focusing on large corporates and business groups across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and originate new corporate banking relationships, maintaining an active pipeline of prospects.
• Develop and execute account strategies to grow the portfolio and increase wallet share through cross‑selling of financing, trade finance, transaction banking, cash management and treasury solutions.
• Act as primary relationship owner, conducting regular client meetings, business reviews and site visits while monitoring profitability, utilization and credit quality.
• Undertake comprehensive credit analysis, prepare high‑quality credit proposals and ensure timely renewal of facilities.
• Manage portfolio performance against revenue, profitability, asset‑liability and risk‑adjusted targets, identifying early‑warning indicators and taking corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting, economics or related discipline; professional credit or banking qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 5–8 years of corporate banking experience with a proven track record in relationship management, credit assessment and portfolio growth.
