Service Technician – Electro‑Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

The Service Technician is responsible for electro‑mechanical maintenance of automated handling systems on site, with a focus on sorter equipment. You will ensure preventive and corrective tasks are performed according to service contracts and keep equipment performance at optimal levels.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance activities, inspections and fault finding on sorter and other MHS equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical errors independently.
• Perform preventive maintenance as defined in contracts and document all actions.
• Monitor equipment condition, identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support shift hand‑over and ensure continuity of operations.
• Maintain records in Maximo and follow HSE procedures.

Required profile

• Middle‑level technical education with electro‑mechanical focus.
• Minimum 5 years experience in MHS/warehouse automation maintenance.
• At least 3 years experience specifically with sorter systems.
• Ability to work under stress and shift patterns.
• Proficient in reading English technical documentation.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical maintenance and fault finding.
• Reading EM drawings and electrical schematics.
• Basic PLC knowledge (TAI portal) and ability to read PLC/SCADA screens.
• Experience with Maximo CMMS.
• Signal measurement and wiring diagnostics.
• Knowledge of sorter equipment such as possi‑sorter, cross‑belt sorter and VCC.
• HSE compliance.
