Software Engineer – Fraud Management System (Quartz)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Fraud Management System team, focusing on the Quartz‑based compliance platform. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing a high‑volume financial fraud detection application.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java applications using Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Build and consume REST and SOAP web services and perform root‑cause analysis of issues.
• Work with application‑level databases (Oracle) and ensure efficient data access without DBA responsibilities.
• Configure and monitor web servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss and WebLogic.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for Linux/UNIX environments.
• Analyze server performance metrics (CPU, RAM, storage, threads, processes).
• Manage Quartz scheduler jobs and understand batch processes within the compliance system.
• Participate in change‑management processes, application training and parameter configuration.
• Generate statistical summaries and pivot reports for operational tracking.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and object‑oriented design.
• Experience with service‑oriented architecture (SOA) and integration between channels and back‑end systems.
• Familiarity with multiple operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux).
