Systems Specialist – Fircosoft

About the role

The Systems Specialist will optimise, maintain and enhance the group‑wide Fircosoft Sanction Screening system for Payment and Customer Screening. The role focuses on fine‑tuning configurations to improve detection accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance and minimise false positives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular performance evaluations of Fircosoft modules and implement rule adjustments to improve screening accuracy.
• Collaborate with compliance, IT and operational teams to align system functionality with regulatory updates and ensure smooth integration with workflows.
• Generate KPI reports, maintain detailed change logs and support audits or regulatory inspections.
• Manage system updates, patches and vendor coordination for enhancements.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technology or Finance Systems, with ACAMS or equivalent certification.
• 8+ years of AML/CTF experience in a top‑tier international bank, including 6+ years leading technology teams.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve system performance issues and to innovate solutions for complex problems.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of Fircosoft Payment and Customer Screening functionalities.
• Expertise in global sanction regulations (OFAC, UN, EU).
• Rule creation, configuration and fine‑tuning for sanction screening solutions.
• Data analysis, reporting and stakeholder management in a compliance context.
