Telecommunications Engineer – Mobile Device & Network Testing

About the role

Marquistech is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to lead mobile device and network testing activities across its global operations. The role focuses on pre‑launch and field testing of smartphones, FWA routers and IoT devices, ensuring performance and compliance with carrier standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑launch and field testing for 5G/4G LTE, VoLTE, VoWiFi and VoNR devices.
• Analyze network KPIs such as coverage, throughput, call drop rate and handover performance.
• Perform drive testing, log analysis and RF optimization for LTE/5G networks.
• Flash and verify firmware builds, debug registration and handover issues.
• Generate detailed test reports and provide recommendations to R&D and vendor teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Wireless Communication or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mobile device testing, field testing or RF optimization.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret network performance data.
