Tele‑Sales Agent

About the role

The Tele‑Sales Agent will contact prospects by phone, promote products or services, and convert qualified leads into sales. The role operates within a call‑center environment and includes meeting daily and monthly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound cold‑calls to prospects and follow scripted sales talks.
• Persuade potential customers to purchase products or services and answer their questions.
• Collect and record customer information, orders, and payment details in the company system.
• Generate referrals and leads from various sources, including cold calling and referrals.
• Conduct client or market surveys and document detailed notes.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and recommending solutions.
• Support the line manager with assigned tasks and contribute to data collection for lead qualification.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops and industry publications.

Required profile

• Minimum high school certification; diploma and work experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven selling ability and positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to listen actively and persuade others.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, occasional weekends or evenings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
