Trade Finance Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Trade Finance Specialist to join our Bahrain team. The role focuses on managing Letter of Credit based products and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and ICC rules. Candidates should have 5‑10 years of hands‑on operational experience in trade finance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and oversee Trade Finance Letter of Credit transactions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, both verbally and in writing, to resolve inquiries and explain procedures.
• Prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources efficiently across rotating shifts.
• Generate and extract reports using Microsoft Office tools and Visio to support performance reviews.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of accounting standards and ICC guidelines relevant to trade finance products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business or Risk Management.
• 5‑10 years of operational experience in trade finance, specifically with Letter of Credit products.
• At least one ICC certification such as CITF, CDCS or CSDG.
• Flexibility to work rotational hours, including night shifts, to support global client bases.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of accounting standards and ICC trade finance rules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Visio for reporting and documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Effective self‑organization and task‑prioritisation skills.
