Valuations & Modeling Analyst – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Strategy & Transactions team is looking for a Valuations Executive to support MENA‑based oil and gas clients with strategic planning, regulatory compliance, financial reporting and fair‑market‑value documentation. You will work on large energy engagements, develop valuation models and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical valuation calculations and financial modelling for oil and gas businesses.
• Research and analyse target industries and comparable quoted companies.
• Respond to day‑to‑day client queries and attend internal and external project meetings.
• Draft presentation decks and written reports, formulate value opinions and present conclusions to the team and clients.
• Contribute to internal valuation methodology development and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or business.
• Minimum 3 years of valuation experience with oil & gas or energy clients.
• Hands‑on experience in M&A, purchase price allocations and fair‑value assignments.
• Strong financial modelling skills for energy businesses.
• Progress towards a CFA, CA or similar professional qualification.
• Motivation to grow professionally within a Big 4 or consulting environment.
