Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel Dining

About the role

Join the service team at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, an ultra‑luxury resort offering private pool villas and legendary butler service. As a Waiter/Waitress you will deliver a seamless dining experience to guests in a high‑end hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain uniform standards and adhere to the outlet’s service sequence.
• Present menus, explain dishes and daily specials, and serve food and beverages professionally.
• Prepare the outlet for service, restock stations, and clear service areas throughout the shift.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions according to accounting guidelines.
• Monitor expiration dates and store perishable items following HACCP standards.
• Report accidents, guest complaints, and safety issues promptly to management.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down buffets, displays, and side stations as needed.
• Participate in briefings and training sessions instructed by the Operations Manager.

Required profile

• Secondary school education completed; hospitality degree or diploma preferred.
• 1‑2 years experience as a waiter/waitress in a five‑star hotel.
• Advanced Business English and proficiency in a second language such as Arabic.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge and ability to work under pressure.
• Previous experience in the Middle East and familiarity with fire and life‑safety systems.
