Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a professional Waiter/Waitress to join the dining team at Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, an ultra‑luxury resort offering private pool villas and legendary butler service. The successful candidate will deliver an exceptional beverage and dining experience to our discerning guests, ensuring the highest standards of service and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain correct uniform standards and adhere to the outlet’s service sequence.
• Present menus, explain dishes and daily specials, and recommend appropriate beverages.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items unobtrusively and professionally.
• Prepare the outlet for service according to SOPs and manager instructions.
• Keep service stations cleared, restocked, and ensure HACCP‑compliant storage of perishable items.
• Handle cash and credit‑card transactions following accounting guidelines.
• Respond to guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and report accidents or complaints to the manager.
• Participate in briefings, training sessions and assist with buffet breakdowns or special projects as required.

Required profile

• Secondary school education; hospitality‑related degree or diploma is preferred.
• 1–2 years of waiting experience in a five‑star hotel environment.
• Advanced Business English proficiency.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Cash handling and credit‑card processing.
• Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
• Familiarity with beverage service, stemware and garnish preparation.
