Warehouse Manager / Supervisor

About the role

The Warehouse Manager / Supervisor oversees all warehouse activities, ensuring that receiving, storage, inventory control, order processing, picking, packing and dispatch are performed efficiently and accurately. The role combines operational planning, team leadership, and continuous improvement to maintain high standards of productivity and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily warehouse operations, assign workloads and set priorities.
• Supervise warehouse staff, provide clear instructions, monitor performance and support training.
• Manage inbound and outbound goods, verify quantities, conditions and documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize warehouse layout, material flow and equipment utilization to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Monitor performance through KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates and turnaround times.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, housekeeping standards and internal policies.
