Application Specialist - Medical Devices

About the role

Kinetic is recruiting an Application Specialist for a reputable medical device company based in Bahrain. The role combines specialist user support, technical training and collaboration with laboratories and sales teams. Candidates must meet all stated criteria for their application to be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist user support, including training, troubleshooting and application guidance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, updates and releases and communicate clearly with users.
• Support laboratories with validation, verification and quality control processes.
• Resolve product complaints and application issues promptly.
• Collect and share customer feedback to improve product use and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and satisfaction.
• Assist with scientific or clinical studies as needed.
• Prepare activity reports with clear follow-up actions and keep accurate records in CRM systems.
• Build relationships with laboratory stakeholders and key opinion leaders.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise before and after sales, deliver demonstrations, evaluations and presentations, contribute to tenders with technical input, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a medical laboratory environment with strong clinical diagnostics knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
• Flexibility to travel and availability for face-to-face interviews in the stated location.
