Art Curator

About the role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and imaginative Art Curator to develop exhibitions, manage collections, and create compelling artistic experiences for both physical and digital audiences. The role is fully remote, allowing you to collaborate with artists, collectors, galleries, and cultural partners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Research, select, and curate artworks for exhibitions, collections, and special projects.
• Develop exhibition concepts, themes, and interpretive materials.
• Conduct research on artists, art movements, cultural trends, and historical contexts.
• Collaborate with artists, galleries, collectors, museums, and cultural partners.
• Manage collection records, cataloging, and artwork documentation.
• Prepare curatorial statements, exhibition guides, reports, and presentations.
• Coordinate exhibition planning, installation, and deinstallation activities.
• Support acquisitions, loans, and collection development initiatives.
• Contribute to educational programs, public events, and audience engagement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Fine Arts, Curatorial Practice, Cultural Studies, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in museums, galleries, cultural institutions, or curatorial roles.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary and historical art practices.
• Excellent research, writing, and storytelling abilities.
• Experience developing exhibitions, collections, or cultural programs.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with artists and multidisciplinary teams.
• Passion for arts, culture, and public engagement.
