Assistant Accountant / Accounts Executive / Finance Executive

About the role

The Assistant Accountant / Accounts Executive / Finance Executive will support the daily accounting and finance functions of the organization. The role involves processing financial documents, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with month‑end and year‑end closing activities. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and auditors to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily accounting and finance operations.
• Process invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with monthly and annual financial closing activities.
• Process payments, expenses, reimbursements and petty cash.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, payables and payment schedules.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and account summaries.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and payment issues.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in accounting, finance or financial administration.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Experience with invoicing, reconciliations, payments and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, ERP or other accounting systems (advantageous).
