Assistant Recreation Manager

About the role

The Assistant Recreation Manager supports the recreation department of Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain, ensuring high‑quality leisure experiences for guests and smooth operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Assist supervisors with management issues and staff development.
• Accommodate VIP guest preferences and handle special requests.
• Maintain warranties and service agreements on recreation equipment, coordinating with engineering for repairs.
• Review hotel occupancy forecasts and adjust recreation schedules accordingly.
• Assign tasks to recreation personnel based on role and ability.
• Record and analyse recreation promotions, recommending marketing improvements.
• Conduct regular inventory checks for retail and expendable items, managing stock‑keeping units and ensuring accurate stock movement.
• Generate monthly and quarterly performance projections for SKUs and promotional activities.
• Address damages, oversee repairs, and keep back‑stock areas clean and organized.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in recreation or leisure operations within a 5‑star hotel or comparable hospitality environment.
• Strong ability to handle guest relations and emergency situations with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills for inventory management and scheduling.
