Associate Full Stack Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Associate Full Stack Engineer to join a cyber‑security platform team in Bahrain. The team builds and operates a high‑throughput, multi‑tenant system that ingests massive security telemetry and provides automated analysis and operational tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship production components of the platform, working closely with senior engineers and operations teams.
• Own the subsystems you work on, gradually taking full ownership of a service within the distributed system.

Required profile

• At least two years of production experience in TypeScript/Node.js or Python, with working knowledge of the other language.
• Hands‑on experience with a real‑scale system handling high throughput, large data volumes, or many concurrent tenants.
• Demonstrated excellence through top academic performance, competitive programming/CTF ranking, open‑source contributions, early promotion, or a shipped feature with measurable impact.

Required skills

• Data structures, concurrency, asynchronous programming.
• HTTP/REST, relational and document databases, message queues.
• Testing discipline, code review, clear written communication in English.
• Exposure to cyber‑security concepts (log analysis, MITRE ATT&CK, endpoint detection) – not mandatory.
• Experience with workflow orchestration, streaming platforms, Kubernetes deployment, and third‑party API rate‑limit handling.
