Automotive Job Controller

About the role

Zayani Motors is looking for an experienced Job Controller to lead workshop operations, ensure high‑quality vehicle repairs and drive profitability. The role combines hands‑on technical oversight with team leadership and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workshop flow, bay utilization and labour efficiency to meet profitability targets.
• Analyse repeat repairs, conduct road‑tests and quality checks before vehicle delivery.
• Lead, coach and motivate technicians, identify training needs and mentor apprentices.
• Maintain compliance with ISO, DOS, warranty guidelines and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Champion continuous‑improvement activities such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Complete repair documentation, generate technical reports and ensure parts availability.

Required profile

• Diploma or related certificate.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar automotive role.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and profitability.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle stress.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations.
