Automotive Workshop Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Workshop Controller to lead our workshop operations at Zayani Motors in Bahrain. The role ensures high‑quality, timely and profitable vehicle repairs while maintaining strict compliance with warranty, ISO and health & safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop flow, bay utilization and labour efficiency to maximise profitability.
• Analyse repeat repairs, conduct road tests and quality checks before vehicle delivery.
• Lead, coach and motivate technicians, identify training needs and mentor apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, DOS and internal audit standards, and champion continuous‑improvement initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Maintain accurate repair documentation, generate technical reports and enforce warranty guidelines.
• Coordinate with the parts department to guarantee parts availability and maintain a safe, orderly work environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or related certificate with at least 7 years of experience in automotive workshop management.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven record of improving operational efficiency and profitability.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and related software.
• Ability to apply ISO standards and ensure compliance.
