Automotive Workshop Job Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Job Controller to lead our automotive workshop operations. The role ensures high‑quality, timely, and profitable vehicle repairs while maintaining strict compliance with warranty, ISO/DOS and health‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workshop flow, bay utilization and labour efficiency to maximise profitability.
• Analyse repeat repairs, conduct road‑tests and quality checks before vehicle delivery.
• Lead, coach and mentor technicians, identify training needs and support apprentices.
• Maintain compliance with ISO, DOS, warranty guidelines and internal audit standards.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives such as 5S and Kaizen.

Required profile

• Diploma or related certificate with at least 7 years of experience in a similar automotive role.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and profitability.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and handle stress effectively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant automotive software.
• Knowledge of ISO, DOS compliance and warranty procedures.
