Bar & Lounge Manager

About the role

The Bar & Lounge Manager leads the luxury bar and lounge operation at Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the bar and lounge, maintaining service standards and venue appearance.
• Deliver personalized guest experiences, engaging with VIPs and repeat patrons.
• Drive beverage sales through menu engineering, promotions, and innovative cocktail programs.
• Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to create seasonal and premium offerings.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members, conducting performance evaluations.
• Manage staffing schedules, labor costs, inventory, and waste reduction initiatives.
• Monitor guest feedback, implement service recovery, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
• Analyze sales trends and operational performance to identify revenue growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3‑5 years of management experience in luxury hospitality, upscale restaurants, cocktail bars or fine‑dining establishments.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails and beverage service operations.
• Proven leadership, team development and financial management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant POS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
