Chief Financial Officer – Insurance Broker (Bahrain)

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of an insurance brokerage in Bahrain. The CFO will drive financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of financial services activities, licensing requirements, and regulatory environment.
• Lead financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to inform strategic decisions.
• Oversee financial operations and implement strategies for sustainable business growth and performance.
• Apply international accounting standards (IFRS and, where applicable, AAOIFI) in preparation and interpretation of financial information.
• Apply appropriate valuation principles across different asset classes.
• Assess and manage impairment provisions, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ACA/FCA, CFA, CIPA (AAOIFI), or equivalent.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and financial management capabilities.
