About the role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Manager / Director to lead civil engineering projects, oversee technical operations, and ensure delivery that is safe, efficient, and within budget. The role provides technical leadership, manages engineering teams, and ensures compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction and completion.
• Manage engineering teams, contractors, and consultants to achieve project objectives.
• Review engineering designs, technical specifications, and project documentation for quality and compliance.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Identify technical risks and implement effective solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, and stakeholders to resolve engineering and construction issues.
• Provide technical guidance and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant experience in civil engineering, project management, or engineering leadership.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Professional engineering registration or relevant certifications are an advantage.
