Desktop Support Engineer – Onsite IT Dispatch

About the role

Global Vibe Technologies is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide freelance onsite IT support in Bahrain. The role focuses on delivering technical assistance directly at client locations, handling hardware troubleshooting, installations, replacements, and other desktop support tasks as required.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical assistance to end‑users, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware problems on desktops, laptops and peripherals.
• Perform installations of software, operating systems and hardware components.
• Carry out equipment replacements and upgrades according to company standards.
• Execute additional desktop support activities assigned by the team lead.

Required profile

• Currently residing and available to work in Bahrain.
• At least one year of experience in desktop support and onsite troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware and basic networking concepts.
• Ability to work independently on hourly, half‑day or full‑day dispatch assignments.
• Excellent communication skills and professional customer‑handling abilities.
• Willingness to respond to dispatch requests promptly and travel to client sites as needed.
