Director of Sales & Marketing

About the role

The Director of Sales & Marketing will lead Hawar Resort by Mantis in positioning the eco‑luxury island destination across Bahrain and the wider GCC market. You will design and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives that highlight the resort’s unique blend of luxury, sustainability, nature and adventure, driving revenue growth and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets, expand the customer base and nurture key client relationships.
• Oversee creation and execution of multi‑channel marketing campaigns, manage the marketing budget and enhance brand visibility.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate the sales and marketing team, setting clear objectives and fostering a results‑driven culture.
• Implement and manage CRM systems to ensure exceptional guest experiences and drive loyalty.
• Coordinate events, conferences and promotions in collaboration with other departments.
• Prepare regular performance reports, analyse key metrics and present data‑driven recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of hospitality sales and marketing experience with a proven record of revenue growth.
• Demonstrated experience in the GCC resort market and strong understanding of regional dynamics.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a methodical approach to execution.
