Director of Sales & Marketing (Pre‑Opening)

About the role

Kempinski Harbour Heights Bahrain is seeking a versatile Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the commercial strategy for its pre‑opening phase. The role will shape brand positioning, build key account pipelines and launch data‑driven marketing campaigns to drive strong opening revenue across rooms and F&B.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the integrated Pre‑Opening Sales & Marketing Business Plan, budget and launch timeline in line with Kempinski standards.
• Conduct market feasibility studies, competitor analysis and positioning for Bahrain’s luxury hospitality market.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management to design base‑rate architecture, yield strategies and seasonal pricing.
• Lead grand‑opening activation events, PR narratives and global press launches.
• Target and secure contracts across GCC Luxury Leisure, Corporate/Government, Travel Trade and MICE segments.
• Build strategic partnerships with global luxury consortia and Kempinski Global Sales Offices.
• Oversee luxury marketing campaigns across digital, CRM, social media and paid media channels.
• Direct local and international PR agencies to secure high‑visibility media coverage.
• Recruit, mentor and manage pre‑opening Sales, Marketing, Events and PR teams, establishing SOPs and KPIs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of luxury hospitality sales and marketing experience, including 2–3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of the regional luxury market and an established network of travel agents, corporate buyers and event planners.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven success in revenue generation and large‑scale product launches.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
