About the role
We are seeking an Editor in Chief to lead editorial direction, content standards, and publishing priorities across our content portfolio. This role combines editorial leadership with strategic planning, audience understanding, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Define and maintain the overall editorial vision, direction, and content priorities.
- Develop editorial strategies aligned with audience needs and organizational goals.
- Review, edit, and oversee high‑impact content across relevant publishing channels.
- Establish and maintain standards for accuracy, clarity, tone, structure, and editorial quality.
- Lead content planning, editorial calendars, publishing schedules, and priority projects.
- Guide writers, editors, contributors, and creative professionals throughout the content process.
- Identify relevant topics, emerging trends, audience interests, and new content opportunities.
- Coordinate with marketing, communications, design, and other teams on integrated content initiatives.
- Monitor content performance and use insights to improve editorial planning and audience engagement.
- Represent the editorial function in strategic discussions and contribute to broader communication initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Journalism, Communications, English, Media, Publishing, or a related field (preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience in editorial, publishing, journalism, content strategy, or a related environment (preferred).
- Strong understanding of editorial standards, content development, and publishing workflows.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling capabilities.
- Knowledge of digital content trends, audience engagement, and modern publishing practices.
- Familiarity with content planning, editorial calendars, and multi‑channel publishing.
- Strong ability to evaluate information, verify details, and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple content priorities and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Strong editorial judgment, creativity, attention to detail, and ability to provide constructive feedback.
