Electrical Foreman

About the role

Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning works at project sites, ensuring activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise electricians and technicians engaged in project activities.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily electrical work to ensure timely completion.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Coordinate installation of power distribution, lighting, cable containment, earthing, and control systems.
• Monitor manpower productivity and efficient utilization of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with project quality requirements and approved construction methods.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades to avoid conflicts.
• Conduct site inspections, identify technical or installation issues, and assist in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, manpower attendance, and material requirements.
• Report project progress, delays, and resource needs to management.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction or industrial projects.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or building projects.
• GCC experience preferred.
