Electrical Supervisor

About the role

The Electrical Supervisor oversees all electrical installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning activities on construction and infrastructure projects. The role ensures work is performed safely, on schedule and in line with project specifications, quality standards and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation and maintenance activities.
• Allocate work assignments and monitor performance of electricians, technicians and subcontractors.
• Ensure all electrical works follow approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Review electrical drawings, layouts and technical documents before execution.
• Monitor project progress and report status to management.
• Inspect completed work for compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, clients and other disciplines.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools and equipment requirements for site activities.
• Conduct troubleshooting and resolve electrical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Maintain daily work records, progress reports and inspection documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction, maintenance or infrastructure projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, street lighting, utility or infrastructure projects is preferred.
