Experienced A320 Captain – London Base (UK CAA ATPL)

About the role

Wizz Air UK is seeking experienced Direct Entry Captains to join its growing team, based at London Gatwick or London Luton. The role involves operating Airbus A320 family aircraft on scheduled low‑cost routes across Europe and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Airbus A320 family aircraft on scheduled flights.
• Ensure compliance with UK CAA regulations and company safety standards.
• Manage flight deck crew and maintain operational efficiency.

Required profile

• UK CAA ATPL holder with unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Minimum 3,500 factorised flight hours.
• Valid Instrument Rating (IR) on Airbus A320 (or any type for non‑type‑rated candidates).
• At least 1,000 total hours as Commander on A320 (or 1,000 hours as Commander on MTOM > 50,000 kg aircraft for non‑type‑rated).
• 500 PIC hours on A320 family (or 1,500 hours on CS25 turbojet > 50,000 kg for non‑type‑rated).
• Preferably 300 hours on A320 in the last 12 months (or recent flying within the last 6 months for non‑type‑rated).

• Airbus A320 type rating (or equivalent CS25 turbojet type rating).
• Instrument Rating (IR).
• UK CAA ATPL.
• Pilot‑in‑Command experience.
• Factorised flight‑hour experience.
