Finance Associate

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Finance Associate to work closely with the CFO, supporting financial operations, managing account records and analysing data to help the organisation meet its objectives. The role involves a mix of financial management, reporting and collaboration with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial information, manage accounting records and process transactions.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, support audits, reviews and tax preparations.
• Prepare financial reports, statements and analyses for management review.
• Assist in the preparation of operating budgets.
• Advise departments on fiscal best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile discrepancies and support financial modelling.
• Handle onboarding with banks, suppliers and other counterparties.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an accountant in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting standards and annual reporting requirements.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and decision‑making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field (preferred).
