Flight Dispatcher

About the role

The Flight Dispatcher ensures safe, legal, and efficient flight operations for DHL Aviation. Working within the Flight Control Centre, you will prepare flight packages, monitor flights in real time, and provide critical operational support to flight crews and management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive flight packages including flight plans, weather briefings, NOTAMs, crew briefings, and flight permissions.
• Monitor and track all DHL flights 24/7, watching weather, airspace restrictions, and ATC updates.
• Provide timely operational information to flight crews and management, ensuring compliance with civil aviation and airline regulations.
• Report any deviations from standard operating procedures to the Flight Operations Manager.
• Collaborate with Network Operations Control, Crew Scheduling, Maintenance, and airport partners to optimise routes and on‑time performance.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and airline SOPs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for briefing crews and reporting to management.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment.
