Food Safety QA‑QC Manager

About the role

The Food Safety QA‑QC Manager leads the food safety, quality assurance and quality control function across all operations, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements. This senior position works closely with production, operations, supply chain and client teams to embed a strong food safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Food Safety, QA & QC function across all operations.
• Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and applicable legal regulations.
• Develop, implement and maintain food safety policies, procedures and quality management systems.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, management reviews and coordinate external audits.
• Monitor product quality, laboratory testing, calibration and validation activities.
• Investigate food safety incidents, non‑conformities and customer complaints; implement CAPA.
• Track food safety and quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train, develop and supervise QA/QC and food safety teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and data analysis related to food safety and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology or related field.
• Minimum 7 + years experience in Food Safety, QA/QC, preferably in large‑scale catering or food production.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• In‑depth knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and relevant food safety regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
