About the role

The Food Services Supervisor ensures that the dining area operates smoothly, delivering high‑quality service to guests while leading a multilingual team. This full‑time position at a Westin hotel in Manama requires a focus on teamwork, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead staff to work together as a cohesive team, ensuring optimum service and meeting guest needs.
• Inspect grooming, attire, and overall appearance of team members, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the facility.
• Maintain organized storage areas using FIFO principles and conduct regular inventories.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well‑being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Uphold company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required safety training.
• Welcome guests professionally, anticipate service needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience in food and beverage operations.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.
