Forward-Deployed Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Forward‑Deployed Engineer to act as the dedicated technical engine and trusted advisor for a strategic enterprise client. You will own the end‑to‑end technical relationship, building PoCs, demos, and solving complex architecture challenges in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical authority for a key enterprise customer, translating capability into strategic value.
• Identify technical gaps and new business opportunities, partnering with presales to design future architectures and drive platform expansion.
• Scope, design, and build custom demos, production‑grade prototypes, and Proofs of Concept tailored to the customer’s ecosystem.
• Work hands‑on with customer engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to design deployment pipelines, integrations, and data flows, focusing on GCP environments.
• Debug and resolve complex deployment, infrastructure, integration, or performance issues in real time.
• Serve as a bridge between customer requirements and internal product teams, advocating for features that drive enterprise adoption.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on software engineering, backend systems, cloud architecture, or SRE experience.
• Strong executive presence, able to white‑board with senior developers and present to CTO/VP‑level stakeholders.
• High autonomy, grit, and ownership mindset; invent solutions without waiting for answers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, building deep trust with client engineering teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript/Node.js, Rust or Golang.
• Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Ability to design REST/gRPC APIs, microservices, and enterprise security integrations (SAML, OAuth, VPCs).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and large‑scale data pipelines.
