Graphic Design Executive

About the role

The Graphic Design Executive creates and executes visual content for store, print and online needs, working closely with the department head. You will engage with internal stores and external vendors to deliver creative visuals for marketing, branding and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute visuals, including in-store campaign designs and social media creatives such as GIFs, posts and stories
• Design print and online materials such as catalogues, newspaper advertisements, flyers and vouchers
• Test in-store visuals and compare results, while tracking competitors, trends and competition
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams and work with 3D software
• Schedule store visits for VM implementation and inventory, and coordinate with the store team
• Source and coordinate with vendors; video editing is required, with animation a plus
• Maintain the monthly store VM expense sheet and create LPOs for approved quotations
• Support initiatives to increase footfall and ensure timely release of designs, ads, visuals and catalogues
• Share campaign and promotion information internally across the organisation

Required profile

• Graduate with 3 years of hands-on experience
• Relevant professional certification in Visual Merchandising, Exhibition Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or a similar field
• Strong visual portfolio
• Ability to work long hours and on weekends as needed

Required skills

• 3 years of hands-on experience with visual software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects and 3D software
• Knowledge of graphic design trends and best practices
• Conceptual skills, strong sense of design, layout, colour and typography
• Time management, problem solving, communication and ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
