Head Bartender / Mixologist

About the role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Head Bartender / Mixologist to lead our bar team and create an exceptional beverage experience at our Greek / Mediterranean restaurant. The role is based at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa, a 5‑star luxury resort in Manama. You will work closely with the restaurant’s culinary team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily bar operations and lead the bar team
• Design and update cocktail menus, including signature creations
• Maintain excellent service standards and guest engagement
• Monitor stock levels, control costs, and manage supplier orders
• Train and develop bartenders to ensure consistent quality
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel policies
• Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and international cocktail trends
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Professional grooming and presentation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
