Head Therapist – Spa

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head Therapist to lead the spa team at Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain. The role involves overseeing the delivery of a wide range of luxury spa treatments, ensuring the highest standards of service, safety and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily spa operations, guaranteeing adherence to Jumeirah SOPs and UAE regulations.
• Conduct guest consultations, manage treatment bookings and resolve any guest queries or complaints professionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑stocked treatment environment, monitoring inventory and cost of sales.
• Drive retail sales through product recommendations, demonstrations and up‑to‑date product knowledge.
• Lead training programmes for therapists, monitor performance and foster continuous development.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a spa therapist in luxury hospitality or high‑end customer service.
• Higher Secondary School certificate or equivalent and a nationally recognised health therapy qualification.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest expectations and ability to deliver exceptional service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (intermediate to advanced level).
