Heavy Driver

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Heavy Driver to safely and efficiently operate heavy vehicles for transporting vehicles, equipment, materials and other assets. The role includes adhering to traffic regulations, safety standards and company policies while ensuring timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles in compliance with Bahrain traffic laws and company procedures.
• Transport vehicles, equipment and materials to designated locations on schedule.
• Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, reporting any defects.
• Secure cargo, oversee safe loading and unloading activities.
• Maintain accurate trip sheets, fuel records and other documentation.
• Report accidents, incidents, traffic violations or breakdowns promptly.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance and coordinate repairs.

Required profile

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating heavy vehicles or trucks.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving.
• Ability to read basic English instructions and road signs.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours when required.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
