Heavy-Duty Driver – Logistics (Sitra, Bahrain)

About the role

The Heavy‑Duty Driver will transport vehicles and materials between the port, stockyards, showrooms and customer locations across Bahrain. The role includes regular vehicle health checks, battery monitoring, cleaning and preparation for delivery, often requiring flexible or odd‑hour schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Drive heavy‑duty vehicles (≥3000 kg), trucks, six‑wheelers and tankers to and from ports, stockyards, showrooms and customer sites.
• Perform scheduled vehicle health inspections, battery condition monitoring and tyre pressure checks.
• Conduct long‑term storage inspections, washing and cleanliness maintenance of vehicles.
• Load and unload materials and new cars safely.
• Complete digital inspection checklists and operational records using an iPad.
• Report any vehicle issues to the Operations Manager and yard marshal.

Required profile

• Valid Heavy Driving License with 3–4 years of experience driving heavy vehicles.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use iPad‑based inspection software.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Secondary school completion.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and early mornings.
