Housekeeping Team Leader

About the role

The Housekeeping Team Leader will supervise daily cleaning operations, ensure guest areas meet brand standards, and support a motivated housekeeping team within an Accor hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Room Attendants, House Attendants and Public Area Attendants.
• Assign work schedules, room allocations and special projects according to occupancy and operational needs.
• Ensure all guest rooms, corridors and public areas are cleaned to brand standards and handle Lost & Found items correctly.
• Monitor DND rooms, respond promptly to guest requests, concerns and complaints.
• Lead, coach and support the team, assist with performance evaluations and development plans.
• Control usage of cleaning supplies, linen, uniforms and equipment; conduct monthly inventories and report shortages.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment safely and complete daily inspection and shift handover reports.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and hotel standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication and attention‑to‑detail.
• Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and work under pressure.
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in a 3‑ to 4‑star hotel in a similar position.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety procedures.
• Inventory and stock management.
• Proficiency in hotel PMS systems.
• Microsoft Office applications.
