HR & Payroll Operations Specialist

About the role

Ecolab is seeking an HR & Payroll Operations Specialist to join its regional HR team in the Middle East. The role provides end‑to‑end operational support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate payroll, benefits administration and a seamless employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Administer payroll processes, HR expenses and vendor relationships, partnering with Finance and external providers.
• Manage leave administration, benefits enrollment (medical insurance, pension) and employee documentation.
• Maintain employee data in Workday and other HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support pre‑boarding, onboarding, relocation logistics and employee exits.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics and analyses for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Coordinate contingent‑worker onboarding, contract management and off‑boarding.
• Assist Talent Acquisition operations, including interview scheduling and requisition management.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and employee experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience with significant payroll exposure.
• Fluent in written and spoken English with strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across all management levels.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and project‑management capabilities.
