HVAC VRF Technician – YORK Systems

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC VRF Technician with strong expertise in YORK VRF Systems to join our team in Bahrain. The role involves installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and maintenance of VRF systems while ensuring optimum performance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and maintain YORK VRF air‑conditioning systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on VRF indoor and outdoor units.
• Diagnose and rectify system faults, error codes, communication issues, and operational problems.
• Inspect refrigerant piping, electrical wiring, communication cabling, and control systems.
• Conduct system performance testing to ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications.
• Carry out refrigerant charging, leak detection, evacuation, and pressure testing activities.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical defects in VRF systems.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Coordinate with supervisors and project teams to complete assigned works efficiently.
• Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and commissioning documentation while complying with safety procedures and Bahrain regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of hands‑on experience in VRF systems within the Bahrain market.
• Proven experience working with YORK VRF Systems (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of VRF indoor and outdoor units, refrigerant piping, electrical wiring and controls, communication networks, testing and commissioning procedures, and fault diagnosis.
