IBM APIC & ACE Middleware Developer

About the role

This is a 7-month project for an experienced IBM APIC & ACE Middleware Developer with at least 7 years of experience in middleware and integration development. The role designs, develops and supports integration solutions between Murex and banking systems such as Equation, PayHub and other enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain middleware solutions using IBM API Connect (APIC) and IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE)
• Develop and manage APIs and integration services between banking applications, digital channels and third-party systems
• Implement middleware using REST/SOAP services, messaging technologies and microservices architecture
• Ensure the security, scalability, reliability and performance of integration platforms
• Develop and support messaging solutions using IBM MQ
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize middleware performance and integration workflows
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployment
• Collaborate with business, application, infrastructure and security teams
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications and support procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in IBM middleware and integration development
• Proven experience with IBM APIC, IBM ACE and IBM MQ
• Experience in banking or financial services integration environments
• Exposure to Murex and other core banking/payment systems is highly preferred
