Internal Auditor

About the role

KPMG Bahrain is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its Risk Consulting practice. You will work on a variety of risk‑based engagements, supporting clients across multiple industries in improving governance, compliance and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk‑based internal audits, process reviews and cost‑improvement reviews.
• Perform compliance reviews, corporate governance advisory and enterprise risk management assessments.
• Deliver quality‑assurance reviews and support forensic investigations as needed.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, CIA or CISA (advantageous).
• Minimum six years of internal audit experience in a large audit/consulting firm or a leading commercial organisation.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal audit standards and risk‑based audit methodology.
• Ability to analyse processes, identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
