Inventory, Procurement & Purchasing Officer

About the role

Early Riser is seeking a full‑time Inventory, Procurement & Purchasing Officer to support its production of nutrient‑dense granolas and nut butters. Based in Hidd, Bahrain, you will ensure raw materials and packaging are available while maintaining optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities, including supplier selection, quotation handling, PO issuance, order follow‑up and delivery coordination.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels, forecast demand and generate reorder reports to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Negotiate prices, terms and lead times with suppliers to achieve cost savings and reliable supply.
• Process invoices promptly and coordinate with finance for timely payments.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
• Prepare procurement reports and keep procurement documentation and contracts up to date.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and ability to manage requisitions and purchase orders efficiently.
• Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
• Excellent analytical abilities to track inventory, analyze usage patterns and support data‑driven decisions.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency with inventory/POS/ERP systems.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
