Jewellery Designer

About the role

Al Zain Jewellery, a heritage luxury house founded in Bahrain in 1930, seeks an experienced Jewellery Designer to shape its collections, signature pieces and High Jewellery. The role bridges creative vision with technical execution, working closely with product development, CAD, gemology and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop original jewellery concepts from inspiration to approved design, producing hand sketches and detailed illustrations.
• Collaborate with CAD designers to translate sketches into precise 3D models and ensure design integrity throughout development.
• Contribute to collection development, creating coherent stories, hero pieces and distinctive design codes.
• Design High Jewellery pieces with deep understanding of gemstones, proportions, settings and construction techniques.

Required profile

• 7–12+ years of professional jewellery design experience, preferably with a recognised luxury or high‑end jewellery house.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating original design, collection development and High Jewellery concepts.
• Exceptional hand‑sketching and jewellery illustration abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
