Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Bahrain. The role offers an opportunity to develop core accounting competencies while supporting day‑to‑day financial operations in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and posting accounting entries.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments and journal vouchers.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts on a regular basis.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and aid in period‑close procedures.
• Maintain tenant payment records and track rental income.
• Coordinate with suppliers, tenants and internal departments on financial matters.
• Assist with VAT documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Support audit preparation and documentation.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation of all accounting records.
• Utilise accounting software/ERP systems for daily operations.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance or a related field.
• Bahraini nationality (open to Bahraini nationals only).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and VAT regulations.

• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.
