Junior Web Developer (Bahrain)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Web Developer to join our team in Bahrain. The role involves building and maintaining responsive websites, supporting both frontend and backend development, and ensuring high performance and security. You will work closely with design and content teams to align visual layout with user‑experience goals, and you will document development processes and report on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress sites, create custom themes and plugins, and integrate third‑party services.
• Implement frontend solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend logic with Node.js, PHP, Ruby, Python, Java or .NET.
• Design, optimise and manage MySQL databases to support scalable applications.
• Improve website performance, apply SEO best practices, and ensure security through regular updates and patches.
• Collaborate with design and content teams, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing maintenance and documentation.
