Kitchen & Laundry Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Kitchen & Laundry Technician to join our Engineering/Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and servicing of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment such as combi ovens, ranges, deep fryers, grills, salamanders, and refrigeration units.
• Maintain and service laundry equipment including commercial washers, extractors, ironers, and folding machines.
• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) according to schedule, keep accurate records, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma, Technical Certificate or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Refrigeration Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, preferably in hotels or large facilities.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and gas‑operated equipment and ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment brands and control systems.
• Understanding of refrigeration systems and food‑service equipment.
