Lead Designer – Hospitality Interior Design

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Designer to create innovative and functional interior design solutions for hospitality spaces, primarily hotels and restaurants. The role combines creative vision with strong project‑management skills to deliver high‑quality corporate and commercial fit‑out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to capture their vision and translate it into compelling interior designs that enhance guest experience.
• Develop and implement a customized design framework for corporate interior fit‑out projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Plan, schedule and monitor project timelines, budgets and quality standards, identifying risks and taking proactive measures.
• Lead and coordinate design and site‑delivery teams, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Act as primary liaison between clients, vendors and internal teams, facilitating effective communication.
• Organise regular stakeholder meetings to align expectations, address concerns and report on milestones.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
• Produce and maintain accurate documentation of activities, milestones and deliverables, and prepare regular reports or presentations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in interior design for hospitality, with a strong portfolio of hotel and restaurant projects.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex corporate/commercial fit‑out projects from concept to delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with a focus on meeting timelines, budgets and quality standards.
